Jewelry Care
Every piece of April Hale Jewelry has been handmade with love and care, and should be treated with respect.
Thank you for your purchase of sustainably crafted jewelry!
I make each piece of jewelry by hand from at least 50% reclaimed materials. A percentage of each sale is donated to a non-profit organization, so you can feel good about conserving resources and giving back to our community through your purchase.
Please be kind to your new jewelry. Enamel can chip if bent or struck, so be careful not to drop or bend enameled pieces. Steel should be promptly dried off if it gets wet, and silver should be stored in an airtight bag or box away from sunlight to prevent tarnishing.
In the event that your jewelry breaks, please contact me and I will gladly fix it if possible. If I determine that the piece broke due to a fault on my end, I will repair it at no cost to you. I also make replacements for lost earrings.
If the silver in your jewelry is dark, I applied a natural patina called Liver of Sulphur. This patina may come off over time if you wear a piece frequently. If you would like to have the patina reapplied, I will gladly do so for you!
Thanks to you, I can support myself and my family while doing what I love.
